Original Design
We are often asked to provide different architectural treatments to our designs depending on a range of factors including cost, aesthetics, and code requirements. This project is a more unusual example when the owner decided to increase the size of the site, resulting in a much wider façade and a more impressive result. It also reduced construction costs considerably because a basement level accommodating the garage was able to be put above ground instead.

It isn’t normally an option to just increase the width a site but in this instance the client was the owner and developer of the housing estate.
